We operate equipment for all types of railway work, much of which can be adapted for use in the highways and civils environments. We are able to erect signals, posts or stanchions on to bases at a distance of 8m for our standard machines. Using our 2m extension, we can give a vertical lift of 10m with a load capacity of 2 tons. A number of our machines are cleared under EN280 to carry mewps man baskets rated to four people or 400kg. These are big baskets, 1.4m square, with a tool carrier designed to enable electrical mechanics to carry out difficult and complicated tasks. We supply braked drum carriers designed to lock on to our trailers. These allow us to either run wire or to pull out cable. We can load drums up to 5 tons in weight on to our carriers with a maximum width and diameter of 2m. Our rail trailers are supplied in two sizes. These are 5 and 6m long with capacities of 18 or 20 tons respectively. The trailers are all supplied with container locks to make it quick and easy to change attachments and usages. We have available large ballast boxes and other attachments designed to operate with these trailers. Aspin® Plant has designed and patented mobile mess units for use on track that contain toilet and generator facilities with up to ten safety-belted seats for transporting staff to site. When on site, the mess unit can be lifted off and left at the site location as long as required. The toilets are designed on the basis of removable cassettes that can be changed at the end of each shift. The generators are supplied with a tank that only requires filling on a weekly basis under normal usage conditions. |
